Hill End Residency Update
Something there is that doesn't love a wall,
That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it,
And spills the upper boulders in the sun;
And makes gaps even two can pass abreast.
Robert Frost – from Meandering Wall
The swells, spills, and gaps of the timber fences in Hill End have become my preoccupation in recent days. Many have succumbed to the whims of time, elements and disuse.
Some even appear to be returning to the ground from which they originally came. You can follow my #fenceoftheday documentation in instagram, just look for enesty.
